Overview of Your New Position
Under the guidance of a highly supportive Global IT Manager, you will join the technology team as the designated expert for Salesforce within the organization. In the capacity of Salesforce Engineer, your responsibilities include analysing business needs and contributing to the design of solutions that you will develop within the Salesforce ecosystem. Beyond deploying Salesforce throughout the organization, you will also handle its integration with various other applications, including ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business leaders, stakeholders, the IT development team, and external suppliers to define business requirements.
- Contributing your insights and expertise during the solution design phase.
- Developing Salesforce functionalities, including flows, Apex triggers, batch processes, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Creating systems that incorporate data integration flows.
- Acting as the go-to expert for Salesforce guidance, advising on system configuration, customization, and its various functionalities.
- Applying your software development skills to lead the team in creating custom applications and integrations, emphasizing best practices and the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
About You
- You have deep experience in solution architecture and design within Salesforce, encompassing Sales Cloud.
- As a Salesforce expert, your skills includes configuring, customisation and development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce API’s.
- Your background includes software development with proficiency in programming languages (Java, C#, Python or similar).
- You have experience in designing integrations between systems using technologies like RESTful APIs, SOAP, or Middleware Platforms.
- You understand ERP systems well, particularly their integration with Salesforce CRM.
- Interpersonally, you are an analytical thinker, effective communicator, and problem solver capable of working in a technical team environment to achieve results. You excel at clarifying complex concepts for stakeholders and can adapt your communication style to suit both technical and non-technical audiences.
