About the Role

This role is responsible for identifying how we can improve our customers and employees’ experiences whilst also improving our back- office efficiency and effectiveness. Through applying a range of lean business analysis approaches and tools across the full life cycle of business activity, the role will be responsible for gathering and documenting emergent business requirements; documenting, designing and improving business processes and capturing, analysing and reporting information so that a successful and improved way of operating can be implemented. This leadership role works closely with stakeholders, such as business users, executives, and IT teams to understand their products, services, processes, and future needs. The role has end-to-end accountabilities across the delivery lifecycle – leading requirements, influencing design, undertaking hands on configuration at times and providing critical inputs to build, testing and change management support.

Key Duties

·Engage with key stakeholders as required to gather and document business requirements using a range of techniques.

·Plan, elicit, analyse and validate requirements using Agile/ Waterfall/ Hybrid delivery methodologies.

·Understand business needs to ensure the program or project is designed to deliver upon desired organisational goals.

·Determine requirements that are the highest priority for outcome success.

·Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously refine and re-prioritise requirements.

·Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; identify business requirements and write specifications.

·Participate in the evaluation of vendors / products against requirements.

About You

You are passionate about progressing your career in Information Technology and will ideally bring the following:

· A strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, its features and capabilities; a willingness and ability to be ‘hands on’ in configuration.

· Demonstrated experience within modern IT environments with business analysis expertise in the application of methodologies, techniques and tools to develop effective and creative business requirements and business re-engineering opportunities.

· Demonstrated ability to review and improve business processes, using a lean approach and mindset (Lean Six Sigma or similar). Analytical skills and the ability to leverage data, insights, and feedback to elicit and prioritise technical requirements.

· Good understanding of architectural principles.

· Curiosity and learning agility.

· Good communication / documentation and mediation skills, and the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders with a consultative approach where there may be conflict.

· Experience in data models and reporting packages, ability to analyse large datasets (including undertaking some financial analysis)

· Excellent written communication skills including the ability to write comprehensive reports and business cases that are evidence based and clearly articulate benefits and outcomes.

· Excellent verbal communication skills including proven ability to facilitate workshops.

· Ability to work well and thrive in an environment where there is a lot of change - must be able to work with minimal direction, self-manage and be very flexible to coordinate complex activities that may be subject to rapid or extensive change.

· A highly analytical mind with a strong inclination for problem-solving

· Pragmatic and decisive in balancing conflicting priorities and trade-offs

Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Business Analysis, Information Technology or other relevant degree.

· Business Analyst experience, preferable in one or more of the following areas: information and communication technology, business administration, service design, process/operations improvement, customer & employee experience management, business strategy/operating models.

 · Good platform knowledge of Salesforce and AppExchange products, such as Service Cloud, Conga, ECM, CPQ, Billing, Skedulo.

· Skills and experience with data migration / data analysis

· Experience working with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
