Form of workA position has become available in Thomastown, where our client in the Smallgoods Manufacturing industry is seeking to appoint a Sales/Stock Control Officer on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will work in a small team and in close association and guidance of the Administration Manager to reconcile all stock being transferred and sold through the cash can fleet of trucks.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Input daily stock control records of cash vans. E.g. Transfers in.
- Input weekly cash van stocktakes, conducted by nominated stock controllers.
- Cross check manual handwritten records with computer generated reports.
- Communicate as required with Sales Representatives/Nominated Stock controllers regarding any stock queries or discrepancies.
- Generate a weekly reconciliation stock report for each cash van to present to Administration manager and other relevant senior staff.
