About the Women’s Recovery Network (WREN)
WREN is an innovative service developed in response to the Royal Commission recommendations for partnerships between the public and private sector, and the need for gender segregation and sexually safe units. We recognise that women experiencing mental ill-health have specific needs that differ from their male counterparts that require tailored treatment and support. Located at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, the clinic is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 74 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work in an innovative program that aligns with the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System.
In this role you will working within a multi-disciplinary team including consumer and carer peer workers, medical, nursing and allied health. Your role will be to provide mental health support to women in their homes including assessment and intervention planning. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Collaborating with Consumers, families/carers/supporters and the multidisciplinary team to provide care that supports woman’s mental health and wellbeing and promotes recovery.
- Fostering a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting dignity and respect for all women.
- Offering education and support to Woman and their families/carers/supporters, empowering them to actively participate in the care process.
About You
- Relevant qualification and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum two (2) years postgraduate experience in mental health
- Relevant Post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed approaches and best practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment.
