With more than 93,000 employees, SGS operates a network of over 2,600 offices and laboratories around the world.Job DescriptionSGS Kalgoorlie Laboratory is currently looking for a Sample Preparer. Roster for this position is 4 days on, 4 nights on, 4 days off - 10 or 12 hour days.Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

• Unloading, loading, sorting and weighing of samples onto drying racks
• Reconcile samples delivered with the supplied sample submission form listing extras and those not received onto the sample sorting sheet
• Responsible for milling samples and transferring sub-samples to sample packets while maintaining numerical order and following established quality control procedures and avoiding contamination.
• Responsible for offloading of sample and stock deliveries and reconcile the deliveries.
• Responsible for sample clearances after completion of analysis and collecting of samples from the storage yard when requested

QualificationsAs the successful candidate you will have:

• Forklift License (Desirable)
• Previous Laboratory experience (Preferred)
