Sampling Officer, Water Industry

Client is public sector authority based in Brisbane's southern suburbs, They are looking to engage a scientific  Sampling Officer r to play important part in their water and waste water team

Your new role
The role supports the lab services team. It involves the collection of drinking water, waste water and environment water samples from various field based locations using variety of sampling techniques and then performing field testing and recording of accurate results. The role may involve some lab work to support technical staff.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally candidates would have Cert II Sampling & Measurement and Cert IV Laboratory Technology or higher level qualifications. Ideally candidates would have technical expertise specific to the Water Industry, so working with and testing drinking water, wastewater and environmental water samples in the field.
Candidates would need good communication skills and IT skills to allow reporting of information into the database.
