Due to the expansion of our company, Murray Engineering is now seeking an experienced Trade assistant to join the Surface treatment team at our local workshop, with opportunities for this proceed to an apprenticeship for the right candidate.

Sand Blaster/ Trade Assistant -  Pinjarra W/Shop

• Full Time Position
• Monday to Friday Roster
• 12 Hour Shifts
• Pinjarra W/Shop location
• Opportunity for overtime when required
• Superannuation paid on all hours worked

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Completing surface preparation of parts and machinery through the use of blasting grit and other media,
• Preparation of parts and machinery for paint application,
• Maintenance of Surface treatment equipment and consumables,
• Working with the team to maintain a high standard of working environment,
• Use of forklifts and other small equipment to move parts and machines into location for blast/paint application,
• Maintain a high level of communication within the team,
• Ability to adhere to procedures and safety requirements as required.

Requirements:

• Abrasive Blasting experience (preferred)
• Forklift ticket (desirable)
• Rigging/Dogging tickets (desirable)
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current WA Driver's Licence
