Sap Consultant (Permanent/Contract)

Our client is an entrepreneurial and established for-purpose organisation who have community development at the heart of all its services. They now require an experienced SAP Consultant to contribute to the successful integration and delivery of SAP solutions.

Reporting to the CIO, you will be responsible for contributing to the successful integration and delivery of SAP solutions. This role requires a solid technical & functional background in SAP integration methodologies, coupled with experience collaborating with vendors and Systems Integrators (SI). You will also be working on 

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration Solution Design: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and SIs to design SAP integration solutions that meet requirements and project objectives.
• Analyze business processes, data flows, and system landscapes to define integration patterns and architecture.
• Interface Development: Develop and configure SAP interfaces, including APIs, web services, and middleware integrations, to enable communication and data exchange between SAP and external systems. Write and maintain technical specifications and documentation for integration components.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Define data mapping rules, transformation logic, and data enrichment processes to facilitate seamless data exchange and transformation between SAP and third-party systems. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with data governance policies.
• Integration Testing: Conduct integration testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, and integration testing, to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of SAP integrations. Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, SIs, and internal teams, to provide status updates, address concerns, and facilitate collaboration. Participate in project meetings, workshops, and status calls as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP integration particularly SAP Payroll would be advantageous.
• Experienced in SAP Cloud Platform Integrations is a must.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules and business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and interact confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
