About the Role:
As a SAP PP-DS Functional SME, you'll spearhead the functional and technical solution design, configuration, and testing of the Production Planning module. Reporting to the Solution Architect, Manufacturing, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of business operations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Mastering Functionality: Deep dive into SAP S/4 HANA capabilities, particularly in PP-DS, to address complex business challenges.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with GDPOs, Solution Architects, and external experts to drive the adoption of standard functionality and simplify business processes.
  • Certification & Expertise: Maintain SAP certification for PP-DS and stay abreast of product roadmaps to provide expert guidance.
  • Functional Design: Drive the adoption of standard functionality to simplify business processes and reduce workload.
  • Configuration & Documentation: Ensure high-quality configuration and documentation standards are maintained throughout.
  • Enterprise Architecture & Governance: Ensure adherence to guidelines, principles, and governance requirements.
  • Change Control & Testing: Implement robust change control processes and conduct thorough testing to ensure solution integrity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assess and reassess solutions against "standard and simple" guidelines, driving simplicity and standardization.
Your Experience & Skills:
  • Industry Expertise: Over 10 years of experience in process manufacturing, with 5+ years specifically in SAP PP-DS.
  • Transformational Leadership: Proven track record in large-scale design, implementation, and transformation projects.
  • ERP Proficiency: Extensive background in ERP implementations, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4 standard functionalities and capabilities, particularly in PP-DS.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen, influencing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Project Management: Exceptional planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Highly collaborative, able to work across diverse groups and cultures.
  • Decision-Making: Comfortable with ambiguity, able to prioritize across multiple areas and competing initiatives.
