SalaryOur client operates within the manufacturing space and has a number of sites across AUS and boasts a strong in-house SAP support/ project team. Our client is looking for a strong SD Consultant as a part of the SAP Support Team. This role is not limited to supporting the existing system but also integral for driving new functionalities as per changing business requirements and continous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP configuration, implementation, testing and support of SAP SD module/s
- Enhance existing business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for support delivery and operations
- Execute simple / complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved procedures using ABAP programs via Industry best practices and understand how to debug programs that may be failing in the process.
- Application Support Single point of contact for end users in troubleshooting, investigating, analysing, and solving SAP problems (including sub systems).
- Incident management ensuring the Application support SLA's and KPI's are in accordance to the required standard and agreement.
- Analyse existing incidents and business processes, propose and realize enhancements to drive automation and process efficiency.
- Documentation and end user trainings as per standard enterprise principles.
- Responsible for ensuring system health and monitoring in specified area of expertise.
- Provide cross-functional support across the SAP Support Team during absenteeism and project work.

- SAP experience is essential

- There is an expectation that there is experience in the SD SAP stream in a professional organisation and the respective SAP accreditation has been attained.
- Extensive experience as an SAP SD professional for the last 5 years with demonstrated architectural skills and experience in defining the target SAP architecture.
- Experience in driving business applications in review, management, and optimization.
- Able to work in diversified teams.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in production for related discipline.
