Sap Technical Architect

Are you a seasoned Technical Architect with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in system architecture and technical implementations?
We are looking for a SAP Technical Architect who is experienced in SAP ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Asset Management) to join this organization based in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
As the SAP Technical Architect, you will:
System Design and Architecture

• Lead the design and architecture efforts for the ERP program, focusing on system architecture, technical infrastructure, and scalability.
• Define and implement the technical infrastructure requirements, including servers, databases, network architecture, and security considerations.
• Identify opportunities for performance optimization and scalability improvements to ensure that the system meets the organization's growing business needs.

Integration and Implementation

• Design and implement integrations between ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Asset Management) and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.
• Oversee the technical implementation of the enhancements, including system configuration, customization, and extension of standard ERP functionalities

Leadership and Risk Management

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges during the enhancement work

Communication and Future-Proofing

• Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to communicate technical requirements, dependencies, and project status effectively.
• Pay consideration to known future capabilities from SAP that may influence the approach to be taken by the project. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of the OneERP system and associated technical infrastructure.

To succeed in the role:

• Proven experience as a SAP Technical Architect, with a focus on ERP systems - SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, including system design, integration patterns, and technical infrastructure.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and selective data transition implementations, including Technical Architecture design and implementation.
• Proficiency with integration technologies and methodologies, particularly SAP PI/PO or SAP Cloud Integration.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and their integration with SAP environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
