This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in optimising our clients Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. 12 month initial contract.
As a SCADA Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and maintaining the integrity, reliability, and performance of the SCADA systems.
- Monitoring SCADA networks, servers, and devices to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Analysing data collected from SCADA systems to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Implementing upgrades, patches, and modifications to SCADA software and hardware as needed.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement SCADA system improvements and enhancements.
- Developing and maintaining documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to operations and maintenance teams as needed.
- Conducting regular audits and assessments of SCADA systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participating in incident response and recovery efforts in the event of SCADA system failures or security breaches.
- Staying informed about emerging technologies and best practices in SCADA system management and cybersecurity.
- Proven experience working with SCADA systems in a technical role.
- Strong understanding of SCADA protocols, standards, and architectures.
- Proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining SCADA software and hardware.
- Experience with SCADA programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, function block diagrams) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices related to SCADA systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Note: Onsite role, candidates should be based in South Australia or be willing to relocate.
