Visit us at to find out more. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled SCADA/Comms Engineer to join our talented team in Greymouth.

As a SCADA Engineer, you will report to the Network Systems Manager. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and maintaining Westpower’s OSI Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). The Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure required to support this ADMS consists of an extensive radio network covering the West Coast, with routers and firewalls to be maintained.

Multiple VMware stacks host more than 40 virtual servers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems, optimize performance and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Support the System Control and Operations staff in their duties by maximising availability of the SCADA system
  • To manage, monitor and enhance the performance, reliability of the ADMS and OT infrastructure.
  • Manage, monitor OT Virtual Servers.
  • Oversee the architecture and future development of the ADMS and OT Infrastructure
  • Ensure OT network is Cyber secure.

About you We are ideally looking for an individual who:

  • has relevant industry-recognised qualifications (eg: CCNA, Network +, Security +).

This would be an advantage, but are not essential as full training will be provided

  • will be committed to company policies, specifically health and safety and quality management policies
