Scaffolding Supervisor

KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for an Scaffold Supervisor to join a local project in Pinjarra. This role will be Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays during Shutdown periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising all scaffolding operations for the Project within the selected workgroup in line with contract specifications and obligations.
• Work in conjunction with the Project Manager and the project management team to coordinate scaffolding tasks amongst Scaffolding crew.
• Implement work procedures that are consistent with the project execution strategy.
• Confer with the workforce, technical engineering, inspectors and procurement to ensure appropriate stock levels in equipment and materials and resolve any problems affecting productivity and schedules.
• Monitor the use and maintenance of plant and equipment, to minimise cost, waste and damage.
• Ensure regular housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Work front planning including materials, resources, scheduling of tasks and estimation of time and costs.
• Coordinate daily meetings with the work group to ensure effective planning, sequencing and delivery of the works in accordance with schedules and deadlines.
• Prior to work commencing in an area, identify any problems with access, potential hazards or potential conflicts with other workgroups.
• Effectively monitor and control general labour productivity.
• Provide effective communication, leadership and mentoring practices to positively motivate and supervise the work team.

About You

• Previous experience as a Scaffold Supervisor
• Experience working at Alcoa sites desirsable.
• Current HRWL – Advanced Scaffolding as a minimum requirement
• Cert IV in Frontline Management or Supervisor training preferrable.
• Safety focus in all aspects of the role.
• Own transport to get to and from Site.
