Learning and Development are accountable for the complete learning cycle including; identification of learning needs, design and development of learning content, scheduling for learning completion, delivery of learning, recording of learning completion and measurement of learning effectiveness against defined criteria. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Scheduling and Data Entry Officer who enjoys stakeholder engagement and working within a fast paced environment. Based on-site at our Gove Refinery, and reporting to the relevant site’s Superintendent Learning and Development, you will be responsible for: Scheduling formal training delivered by L&D trainers as well as appropriate internal/external providers Working alongside frontline leaders as well as L&D trainers in order to schedule core task assessments or classroom training where required Providing general administrative duties including arranging meetings, rooms, catering and external purchasing Completion of standard SAP transactions for the maintenance of L&D training contracts Liaising with internal and external parties to identify needs and services Monitoring incoming enquiries and responding to internal and external customers Managing and prioritising adhoc daily queries from operational staff Proactively perform Data Entry activities About You: Strong stakeholder engagement with finely tuned administration skills Previous experience with learning management systems such as SuccessFactors and Corner Stone on Demand Experience in using SAP Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite The ability to follow, review and improve administrative practices Flexibility and willingness to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a high pace work environment Ability to learn new systems Ability to make autonomous decisions based on changing business needs A strong team player, able to communicate effectively with a sound knowledge of health and safety What we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress. Where you’ll be working Our Gove Operations have been supplying the global aluminium industry with world-class bauxite for more than 40 years. Located in Australia’s Northern Territory, each year the operation produces approximately 12 million tonnes of bauxite. With a workforce of 460 people, daily activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, shutdown planning and execution, export operations, cultural heritage management, and closure activities following our decision to close the site’s alumina refinery and associated Residue Disposal Area in 2017. We expect our bauxite mining operations on the Gove Peninsula will cease in 2030 and we are undertaking significant work to support closure of the operation. We also recognise our operations take place on Indigenous-owned land, and we are committed to working together to achieve a positive future for Nhulunbuy and the Gove Peninsula post-mining.
