The Rural City of Wangaratta are seeking casual School Crossing Supervisors for 2024. As a School Crossing Supervisor you are responsible for assisting children, families and pedestrians to safely cross at children's crossings and traffic lights, supervise during designated shift times, report all incidents, accidents, near misses and potential risks and maintain a high level of awareness and professionalism. To be successful in this role you will have an understanding of the position as a School Crossing Supervisor, hold a 'Working with Children' check (Employee) and National Police check (or ability to obtain) and flexible to travel to crossings. Previous experience in a similar role, traffic safety or working with children is highly regarded but not essential.
