About this Role
As School Crossing Supervisor you will play an integral role in our community by providing a safe environment for children as they travel to and from school.
Your duties will include:
- Ensuring a high standard of safety on all School Crossings in Latrobe City.
- Supervising the morning and afternoon use of School Crossings during in school terms.
- Carrying out all duties in accordance with the VicRoads instruction booklet.
About You
In this position you will promote a positive community attitude towards School Crossing supervision, developing good relationships with children and encouraging road and crossing safety.
You will have:
- Ability to communicate clearly and positively with children and other road users.
- Ability to exercise good judgement in all traffic conditions.
- Knowledge of current VicRoads Traffic Regulations.
All successful applicants are required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check, hold a valid employee Working with Children Check, and satisfactorily complete a pre-employment medical check.
