About the School
The School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences operates from three of the twelve WSU campuses: Penrith campus, Parramatta South campus and Campbelltown campus. The School offers research-led undergraduate and postgraduate programs to address the global knowledge and skills shortfall of STEM professionals, including research programs that combine advanced academic knowledge with real-life training to suit a range of career needs and interests in the following disciplines: Computer Science and Information Technologies, Data Science, Mathematics, and STEM Entrepreneurship.

Why Your Role Matters
The School Manager is a crucial member of the School’s Executive team and is the most senior professional member of the School. You will provide strategic planning and operational business oversight and support the Dean and School Executive across teaching and learning, research, International and engagement activities.
You will be responsible for continuous improvement in the management of financial, physical, information and human resources across multiple campuses of the University.
The position also contributes to lifting the profile and performance of the School in developing and implementing the School’s strategies by performing a key role in the relationship management interface between the University and many stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing professional team that provides administrative support to School academic staff, across a variety of functional areas. The role is responsible for both managing day-to-day operations of the professional team, while also driving professional development initiatives that support the team’s continuous improvement.

Remuneration Package: Higher Education Worker Level 9 - $151,302 to $161,579 p.a. (comprising base salary of $127,852 to $136,536 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading)
