About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an experienced Senior Allied Health Clinician to lead a multidisciplinary team as part of the School Readiness Funding initiative. SWH in partnership with the Department of Education and Training (DET) work in a capability building model to provide kindergartens with support to deliver evidence-based, quality programs to ensure children get the most out of their early learning.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of Allied Health professionals who work in collaboration with educators in kindergartens and with families, to build their capability to create an environment for kindergarten that promotes:
- improved speech, language, social interaction and early literacy outcomes
- self-regulation and positive and pro-social behaviours
- social and emotional wellbeing and mastery of everyday tasks.
The SWH School Readiness Allied Health Team are the 2023 Victorian Public Healthcare Award Winners in the category of keeping people healthy and safe in the community and have been providing service excellence to over 50 kindergartens across 5 local government areas since 2019.
Position overview
- Fulltime, On-going position with a monthly ADO
- Warrnambool Campus
- Occupational Therapist Grade 3, Speech Pathologist Grade 3 or Social Worker Grade 3.
- Salary Range: $99,855.60 - $105,565.20 pro rata, plus superannuation
