Audiologist - Burnie, Devonport, Ulverstone

  • Permanent full time position working a nine-day fortnight

Your opportunity

As an Audiologist within the North West of Tasmania team, you'll be part of a committed and caring bunch of staff that strive to make a difference in the lives of our clients every day. This role will bring you exciting opportunities to be exposed to many different client clinical needs from Paediatric through to Adults with complex needs. You don't need to know or be trained in it all, but rather just a willingness to continue to grow in your Audiology career and undertake training as needed. Here's how you'll do it:

  • You'll undertake and maintain a high level of clinical skills through a regular caseload
  • You'll experience genuinely rewarding work, liaising with multiple stakeholders to make a real difference in the lives of your clients and their families every day
  • You'll be provided with ongoing training and development, including opportunities to further your career in Clinical Training and/or Business Management

What you'll bring

We believe the successful candidate with thrive in a client centred environment where they can provide exceptional and friendly service in conjunction with managing complex medical administration. This role is primarily based in our Burnie Hearing Centre but successful candidate will need flexibility to travel to our Devonport & Ulverstone Hearing Centres and conduct local home visits to undertake clinical work.

  • Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
  • Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products and policies
  • Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme is desirable
  • Experience working with children and or adults with complex needs is preferred but not essential
