SalarySt Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing K-12 school with a student population nearing 1450 students in 2024. The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the college is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8), and Senior Years Learning (9-12). St Francis is entering its 7th Stage of Building Development and offers state-of-the-art learning & specialist KLA facilities.A temporary part time position (working 3 days per week) commencing 29 April 2024 until 20 December 2024. This position exists to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching. This classroom-based position requires you to work collaboratively with teachers, assisting in all areas of student learning and management.ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- Ability to support children's learning in the classroom.
- Understanding of and ability to work with students with diverse needs.
- Ability to interact positively with students.
- Technical competence in appropriate technologies.
- Previous experience in similar settings
- Experience with the PB4L framework.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Certificate III in Classroom Support or equivalent
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
