Science Teacher

               Full time/Temporary Position – Terms 3 & 4 2024

Are you a passionate and motivated Science Teacher looking for a new challenge? We have an opportunity to join our Science department due to staff leave, on a full time/temporary basis, for Semester 2, 2024. This role will commence on Monday 22nd July 2024.

To be successful you will need to possess and demonstrate:

• Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation, with a major in Science essential
• Sound knowledge of the NSW Curriculum
• Ability to teach senior classes (Stage 6) would be an advantage
• Evidence of high level student outcomes up to and including the HSC
• A high standard of competency and innovation as a classroom teacher
• A capacity to cater for different learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Efficient administrative skills, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to prioritise and work as part of a team
• A commitment to the strategic direction of the School is required
