The Role
The College is seeking the services of Science/Maths/Biology Teacher who is suitably qualified, innovative, and enthusiastic to join the STEM Department.
We invite both full-time and part-time candidates to apply. The FTE will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The teacher responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, interactive small group lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students, for Year 7 to Year 12 based on the Australian/ Queensland curriculum.
- Foster a collaborative learning atmosphere, encouraging students to work together to solve complex problems and develop critical thinking skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting lesson plans to address individual learning gaps.
- Develop positive relationships with students, maintaining open communication and providing guidance on appropriate learning strategies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and College staff to share best practices and continuously improve the quality of our teaching services.

Mandatory Requirements
Queensland teacher registration.
- Relevant teaching qualifications.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills required.
The ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Suitable qualifications in the field of education are expected with a minimum standard being a Bachelor Qualifications. (4 years trained).
- Current First Aid and CPR (essential).
