SalaryOur Client, a government organisation, offers analytical testing services within the environmental sector. As a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited facility, their expertise is trusted by a wide variety of customers.
They are currently recruiting a Scientific Assistant/Sample Receipt officer for 6-month, full-time position working Monday to Friday, starting early February.
Duties:
As a Scientific Assistant/Sample Receipt Officer, you will be responsible but not limited to:
- Labelling and Data entry into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS);
- Ensure records are maintained and filed in accordance with Company policies;
- Communicate with and support other team members to ensure a consistent approach to data management;
- Assist with archiving and retrieval of records as required;
Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this position you must have:
- A certificate or degree level qualification in Science or Experience in a similar Sample Receipt role;
- Current class “C” drivers license and reliable transport highly advantageous;
- LIMS/Data Entry experience and strong administration skills would be highly regarded;
- An understanding of Good Laboratory Practices;
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated experience as a multi-tasker and team player;
- Team bonding BBQ’s, lunches and seminars!
