This is an excellent Long Term Contract Opportunity for a Scientific Technician with sampling experience to work within R&D for a major global pharmaceutical facility.
Due to the increased requirements, an opportunity now exists for a Scientific Technician (Sampling) to join a global pharmaceutical organisation to work with in the R&D Group.
About the Opportunity
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Receive clinical & non clinical samples & record & receipt into LIMS/Lab Software.
- Catalogue samples & critical reagents stored within freezer/refrigerator units & perform inventory checks.
- Catalogue online inventor systems.
- Ensure incoming deliveries of materials are labelled & registered.
- Coordinate outgoing & incoming shipments of samples to/from offsite storage facility.
- Participate in internal & external audits.
- Effectively liaise with internal stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in Science.
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience highly desirable.
- Sound MS Office, Lab Management Software/LIMS experience.
- Sound organisational, planning & time management skills.
- Sound communication & interpersonal skills.
- High level attention to details
- Ability to work in a team & liaise at all levels.
