We are seeking reliable and experienced Scraper Operators for both FIFO (Ex Darwin) and local roles. These positions offer competitive hourly rates, attractive rosters with up to 12-hour shifts, and the opportunity to be a part of the execution of major road projects in the Northern Territory.
About the FIFO roles:
FIFO (Ex Darwin) Scraper Operators
To be suitable for the FIFO positions:
·Operate CAT 623 elevator, 627 open bowl, and/or 657 scrapers.
·Work on a 2/1 roster, including remote and FIFO experience.
·Hold relevant RII qualifications, white card, and driver's license.
·Pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
·Provide a National Police Clearance and two contactable referees.
About the project & site:
You will be transported to site via charter plane from Darwin. Camp is located near-by, where all meals, accommodation, Telstra Wi-Fi & laundry facilities are provided. Your accommodation consists of an ensuited room. This is a major highway project involving the resealing, reconstruction, widening & elevating the road alignment on a key access road for pastoral, tourism, agricultural & mining sectors.
About the local roles:
Darwin Local Scraper Operators - Night Works
To be suitable for the local positions:
·Prior operational experience is essential.
·Work a rolling 2/1 roster, nightshift experience required.
·Hold all relevant RII qualifications, white card & drivers' license.
·Pass drug & alcohol screening.
·Willing to provide 2 relevant, contactable referees.
About the project & site:
This is a local role on a major civil road project intended to assist the flow of Darwin traffic. Scope of the works on this project have consisted of earthworks and pavement construction to widen the existing carriageway, drainage modifications, relocation and upgrade of the street lighting, modification of the traffic signals, asphalt works and bitumen resealing. The scraper aspect of this project is expected to last for approximately 8 weeks, commencing in June 2024.
