Scraper Technicians - Wa

REMA TIP TOP is seeking experienced Scraper Technicians to join our supportive and growing team on shutdowns, back-fills, and project work throughout many sites across Western Australia. 

Duties and tasks:

• Maintaining and repairing conveyor belt system’s associated components including but not limited to; scrapers, roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaning systems, belt tracking units, transfer chutes, and conveyor structures
• Cleaning and adjusting primary and secondary cleaners, ploughs, and water control units
• Completing conveyor safety and operational inspections
• Adhere and possess strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Job requirements:

• Substantial experience as a scraper technician with previous working experience on mine sites
• Trade qualification - Preferably in Fitting, Machining, Metal Fabrication or Mechanical 
• Working at Heights ticket
• Confined Spaces ticket 
• Gas Test Atmosphere tickets
• MSIC (advantageous, we will assist if not) 
• Possess strong communication skills, self-motivation, and strong work ethic
• White card 
• High Risk Work License - Basic Rigging and Dogging (Highly advantageous - incentives available to gain these)
