About your new role
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for building a self-organising Scrum team to deliver product enhancements and feature upgrades. You will oversee all the Agile ceremonies and lead the team through ongoing projects. The Scrum Master will support and educate the development team and is responsible for incremental product delivery.

*A Critical Skills Incentive Payment of up to $32,000 per annum on top of the listed annual salary, may be applied dependent on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
What you bring to your new role
You will have experience wearing multiple hats where you can work with cross-functional teams to deliver unique and complex projects. You can devise creative strategies and initiatives with the team to deliver business outcomes.
Supporting the Product Owner to define the product roadmap and prioritisation of the backlog, you will be something of a mentor, bringing your passion for Agile practices and continuous improvement, always on the lookout for ways the team and City can improve as you seek to instil a sense of pride in the teams you work with.
To succeed in the role, you will have:
- Certification in Scrum
- 5 years+ experience as a Scrum Master or Iteration Manager in a Digital, matrixed environment
- Exceptional knowledge of the Scrum Framework and techniques for establishing and maturing the fundamentals of Scrum within the team and organisation
- Strong firsthand experience with JIRA and other Agile tooling to manage work
- 3+ years experience working within Digital or IT projects (including project management and risk management)
- Experience working in a portfolio Agile environment and working with multiple Agile methodologies (e.g. Kanban, Scrum etc.)
- Can adapt to other modern and contemporary ways of working (i.e. Lean, DevOps, Design Thinking etc.)
