We are seeking an experienced IT Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our team and work in an energy sector Digital Transformation project The successful candidate will facilitate and augment the ICT Portfolio Team to deliver a key transformational project focused on addressing geospatial data and integration challenges. This role will ensure that the organisation can effectively utilise Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) for decision-making while remaining compliant with Land Access conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ICT Portfolio Team in the delivery of the geospatial transformation project.
- Manage and oversee all project phases from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with objectives.
- Facilitate Agile practices and ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage project dependencies, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Implement and advocate for Agile methodologies and best practices within the team and organization.
- Ensure compliance with data management principles, including data lifecycle, quality, governance, security, and ethics.
- Utilize tools and techniques for data collection, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization.
- Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Project Management Expertise:
- Deep experience in project management, particularly in software and large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale programs on time and meeting all objectives.
- Qualifications/Certifications:
- Qualification/Certification in Project Management or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as an Agile Project Manager/Iteration Manager/Scrum Master.
- Agile Methodologies:
- Strong understanding of Agile behaviors, tools, and techniques, including collaboration, work breakdown, automated testing, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Agile certification(s) (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) are highly desirable.
- Transformation Project Experience:
- Experience and knowledge in transformation projects that have addressed data management.
- Solid understanding of data management principles and practices, including data lifecycle, quality, governance, security, and ethics.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with tools and techniques used for data collection, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization.
- Proficient in databases, data warehouses, ETL, BI, and data science methodologies.
- Geospatial Information System (GIS) Expertise:
- Solid experience with GIS in the Engineering Consulting or Oil & Gas Industry.
- Experience working on large multi-discipline projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- High level of adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
