If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!About the role:As Senior Scrum Master for the Digital Insurer Program, you will be working on one of the largest transformation program Suncorp has undertaken. The program is likely to run for 5+ years' with significant change to the way we do business.This role supports data migration across several key Corporate Platforms including Finance, Legal and Risk, and People and Culture. You will be managing 2-3 squads each with multiple stakeholders, within the Digital Insurer program.To succeed in this role, you must have exceptional communication and presentation skills, be adept at wearing multiple hats as well as experience working on large programs of scale.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a significant program, within a supportive and collaborate environment.What you'll do:
  • Responsible and accountable for managing flow, sequencing, slicing and velocity of work. Support backlog management. Drives removal of impediments. Monitors Squad performance and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage 2/3 squads' scope and deliverables to ensure program timelines are being achieved.
  • Responsible for facilitating workshops and events, including Quarterly Planning Events and Tribe Release Planning.
  • Responsible for ensuring squad is compliant with appropriate governance and practices.
  • Responsible for squad level reporting.
  • Responsible for managing RAID.
  • Responsible for communicating and embodying Momentum mindsets.
  • Work with Product Owners to manage and prioritise work through the backlog, ensuring work is tracked and progressing and that there is an appropriate balance across Squad members.
  • Work with Scrum Masters / Platform Delivery Leads / Program Tribe leadership to sequence work and manage dependencies across squads and tribes.
  • Ensure a high-level understanding of what the squads' are delivering and manage squad scope and deliverables to ensure program timelines are being achieved.
What you'll bring:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years' Scrum Master/Project Management experience working on large programs of scale
  • Previous experience working on data migration of Corporate Platforms projects; using Agile in a large complex environment, with a deep understanding of the core principles of agile methodology.
  • A background in Finance, Legal/Risk or P&C would be advantageous
  • Understand the long-terms goals of the squad, and how they deliver to those goals on a sprint-by-sprint basis.
  • Strong delivery skills and ability to clearly define project objectives, benefits, and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to develop trust and credibility with executive level through to the squad.
  • Drive consistency or improvement in WoW with other Scrum Masters (across CDP and Tribe)
