As the International Marketing intern you will have the opportunity to collaborate with and assist all teams within International (Digital & Marketing, Publicity and Distribution). If selected for this role, you will report to our International Marketing and Distribution Manager.
What You Will Do
Track digital trends and social media benchmarks, as well as monitor marketing campaigns of both arthouse and mainstream films to find best practices
Analyze, review, and report on efficiency of campaigns or media coverage to help improve results in marketing
Attend marketing brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for digital activations
Monitor and report on daily press coverage of Searchlight titles
Conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses and report findings on international film markets
Assist with special projects as needed and provide general administrative support
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and experience using Adobe Photoshop
Strong social media / digital knowledge with an understanding and passion for emerging digital trends and technologies
Excellent verbal, written communication and project management skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Self-starter and ability to balance multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
General curiosity about and knowledge of Searchlight Pictures and the film/entertainment industry as a whole
Previous internship, professional job experience or similar academic experience in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, Journalism or similar
Education
Undergraduate students in their senior year or recently graduated within the past six months pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field.

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
The approximate dates of this internship are September 2024 through February 2025
Able to be fully available for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
