About Us
We are Zambrero. Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick-service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies. What you’ll do
Our Supervisors and Shift Managers take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As Restaurant Management team, you will be responsible for setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the customer experience, the workplace culture, and the financial results.
- Training, developing and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences.
- Ensuring food is prepared, presented and served to the highest standard.
- Ordering of stock from various suppliers
- Office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and reviewing policies
- Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room, and general restaurant
- Executing marketing promotions
- Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
What you’ll bring
- Previous Shift Management experience of minimum one year preferably in QSR
- Food Safety Supervisor and First Aid trained
- Passionate about our humanitarian values and ready to make a difference
- Passionate about building a positive culture within the restaurant– focused on exceptional customer service, working together, delegating and following up.
- Ability to spot the champions in store to develop into Supervisors and Managers
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues
- Ability to maintain a professional, well-groomed, and neat appearance at all times
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer levels as required
