The PositionWe invite applications from inspired and proactive
Science Teachers. This is a full-time position commencing Term 3, 2024 until the end of the year with the potential to become ongoing. Reporting to the Head of Science, the successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality instruction across Years 7 to 12.Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content, be able to use technology to support your teaching and understand the individual learning needs of students and develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements- Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- A strong background in teaching general science Years 7-10.
- VCE Science knowledge is desirable, in any of the VCE Sciences.
- Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
