Secondary Science Teacher

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Limited is seeking an innovative and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher with an ability to teach Stage 6 Biology This is a permanent full time position commencing Term 3, 22 July 2024.

Key personal attributes:

• supportive of the Christian ethos and mission of the school
• demonstrated capacity to collaboratively design and deliver engaging, differentiated student-centred learning
• possess strong communication skills
• demonstrated capacity to meet the professional expectations of the teaching profession as expressed by AITSL and NESA

The successful applicant will hold a formal teaching qualification (degree level), a current Working with Children Check in NSW and be currently registered with NESA to teach in NSW – or be eligible to register with NESA. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the school.
