As a qualified TAS teacher, you will bring skill and excellence in classroom practice to this temporary full-time position in our growing school community.
Position Highlights
The successful applicant will focus on providing students with a quality Catholic Education and a student centred curriculum aimed at maximising student outcomes.
This full-time temporary position will commence on 29 April 2024, completion at the end of Term 2 2024. We welcome applications from recent graduates.

To excel in this role, you will:
- demonstrate commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic education
- utilise engaging classroom practice that utilises a range of effective pedagogies to differentiate pedagogy and assessment
- be able to teach Stages 4 - 6 TAS courses. The ability to teach Food Technology would be highly regarded.
- be committed to academic excellence with sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy in TAS
- have an ability to engage effectively with parents, students and colleagues
- integrate technology into engaging teaching and learning
- apply teaching approaches that cater to diverse learning styles
- commit to on-going professional and spiritual development
- guide and lead students in extracurricular experiences
- support the College's educational initiatives and endorse innovation as outlined in our Strategic Plan
- participate in mentoring and training alongside peers and build strong professional relationships
- uphold and promote the Catholic ethos of the school

Your qualifications
- a tertiary qualification in Education, with relevant study in Technology and Applied Sciences
- current accreditation with NSW Standards Authority (NESA)
- an SCS Employee ID Number, by completing the Registration To Teach process, or a commitment to complete the registration process.
