Section Waiters - Freyja Restaurant

Freyja is experiencing a high demand and as a result, several opportunities have become available to join our Food & Beverage service team. As such, we are on the hunt for experienced Section Waiters that are able to quickly adapt with self-motivation and customer service driven goals. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and smooth service operation you are involved in, such as the full sequence of service in multiple sections and working alongside the Venue Manager & Restaurant Manager learning everything about the service, menu and the stunning dishes of Freyja.

• Located at Olderfleet Building, 477 Collins Street, Melbourne 
• Nordic inspired restaurant and menu to match
• 2 level dining space for 130pax including 2 semi-private dining rooms
• Monday – Saturday, Lunch and Dinner service
• Upscale Casual dining
• Sister bar Valhalla (one of Melbourne’s basement bars hidden gems) attached to our lower-level seating area

Key Selection & Criteria

• Minimum 1 (one) year experience in a similar role, ideally in a premium restaurant
• Have a warm, engaging and outgoing personality, passion for customer service and can-do attitude
• A can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and willing to go the extra
• Available to work varied shifts, including late evenings, Saturdays and public holidays
• Have a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol - VIC) 
• Casual role, immediate start date, pay at $30.10 per hour (inclusive casual loading) + penalty and weekend rate + superannuation
