About the Role
We're excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Technician / Tradesperson to join our smart wiring and security installation team.
As an installation technician, you'll be a key part of our company, installing smart home technology and collaborating closely with our service, sales, and admin teams to deliver exceptional service to all our clients.
Intelligent Home provides structured cabling and security solutions to a large number of residential building companies across Perth, ranging from project homes to custom builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all work carried out is done acknowledging AS/CA S009:2020.
- Installing, testing and commissioning Smart Wire, CCTV, security, intercom and multi-room audio systems.
- Reading and interpreting plans to then translate into practical completion.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform all work tasks safely and productively.

Experience and Qualifications
- Current ACA cabling license.
- Current security installer license.
- Manual driver's license.
- National Police clearance.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
- White safety awareness card.
- Experience in the building industry is preferred but not essential.
- Highly organised and motivated team player who contributes to a positive work culture.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance at work.
