Security Architect
Job Summary:
As a Security Architect working in a secure government agency, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the Security Architecture of our systems and networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop security strategies, and implement best practices to safeguard our organisation from cyber threats. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of security principles and technologies, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Evaluating business strategies and lead threat risk assessment activities
- Architect solutions that deliver to cyber mitigation strategies and meet PSPF and ISM.
- Review, recommend, and implement enhancements to existing system security measures.
- Develop, deliver, and update System Accreditation Plan (SAP), Security Risk Management Plan (SRMP) to ensure Capability solution architecture/design(s) can sufficiently mitigate the identified threats.
- Analyse, design, develop, deliver, and maintain the security perspective of a Cyber Security Capability.
- Liaise with certification and accreditation authorities, business stakeholders and solution architects to drive a solution/design to an accreditation outcome.
- Review internal/externally developed security engineering artefacts to ensure that all security requirements are addressed.
- Advise Program Design Authority on system security threats, risks, and mitigation's.
- Australian citizen with NV1 Security Clearance
- Experience over a wide range of Cyber Security fields.
- SFIA Level of Responsibility Level 5 (LOR 5)
- Proficient spoken and written English
- Must work on-site in ACT.
- Must be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA)
- NV1 Clearance or above.
