Our cybersecurity business is rapidly growing, and we are hiring mid-level security professionals within a range of disciplines to support our goal and mission of doing our part to secure the most critical systems and organisations for our way of life to thrive in Australia.
Accenture is looking for Cyber Security Architect to support delivery in the future for a wide variety of Government systems, including standalone, deployed, cloud, and strategic networks. To achieve this, you would be required to support this Australian Government Federal agency in the design, development, and sustainment of the Department’s security documentation in line with the Australian Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential 8 (E8) and Cyber Security Strategy.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is Canberra or Melbourne based, to work on some of the largest Cyber Security engagements across Federal Government.
Forming part of the Security team, your role as a Security Architect will include:
Leading the development of client facing deliverables with a high attention to detail.
Developing High and Detailed Level Designs that address ISM and E8 requirements.
Lead security architecture design workshops with the client and ecosystem vendors.
Design and document security requirements.
Assist as a technical SME supporting the IRAP assessment process.
Work as a part of teams providing tangible outcomes on significant government reforms and transformation projects.
Grow and develop alongside a team of experienced management consultants.

Minimum 5+ years of public sector cyber security experience;
Prior experience working on Government Projects;
Cloud, Application and Integration Security architecture and controls Subject Matter Expertise;
Proven experience as a Cyber Security practitioner with relevant knowledge of cloud and application Security;
Experience of MS Azure, Container and Azure Integration Preferred.
Have a current Australian Government Security Clearance.
