- Checking New Vendor’s staff to see if there is an existing Security Clearance
- Check if existing clearance satisfies the requirement of role, Including recognition and transfer of clearances
- Ensure that requests are addressed in an expeditious manner
- Submission of AGSVA Clearance Requests for new clearances required to relevant parties
- Management of Security Tracker and Master Clearance Register, including additions, updates, and cancellations
- Provide the relevant clearance forms to the Vendors to complete and provide assistance as required
- Manage the Security email inbox
- Other security related tasks as required
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:In this role having a background in or understanding of government and or private industry security requirements would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will be have demonstrated skills in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- Capacity to maintain a high degree of discretion and exercise sound judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters and information
- Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, manage own workload, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Effective time management to prioritise clearances
This role is subject to Commonwealth Government Security vetting processes where you must be an Australian Citizen in order to conduct this check.
