The Opportunity:
Southern Cross Group is currently seeking Static Uniform Security Officers in Singleton and surrounding areas with current security license. As a professional Security Officer, your expertise in client and customer relationships and asset protection will be well utilised in this role. Candidate’s suitability for a particular role will be determined during the interviews and based on compliance requirements for a particular client.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Good Physical Presence
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain resilience within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills
- Ability to be able to communicate with multiple stakeholders across various backgrounds
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Flexibility in work hours and availability
- Report writing using electronic systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers & patrons
- Monitoring areas to prevent loss/theft
- Monitoring of High-Risk areas with proactive approach with an understanding of WH&S and the ability to identify & manage risks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Provide First Aid to Staff and patrons when and if required

- Current security license 1AC
- Current First Aid certificate
- Client-specific inductions
- Working with Children Check
- Driver's Licence

- The ability to undertake client-specific clearances if applicable
