Key Responsibilities
Your Role as a Security Officer
This is a perfect role for those looking to gain more experience in level 3 positions as in this role you will be providing support to the level 2 & 3 teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Train station patrolling to implement crowd control and deescalate anti-social behaviour.
Protecting assets and ensuring safety within Stabling Yards.
Monitoring CCTV footage.
Controlling access to sites.
Log electronic reports for any incidents and hazards.
Demonstrate conflict resolution skills and communicate security concerns.
Provide other stakeholders with a visible security presence.
Cooperate with safety engagements and periodic memo requirements.
Provide customer assistance to passengers.
Assist with medical or evacuation emergencies.
Requirements To Become a Security Officer
Ability to work a 24/7 roster.
Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Current Security Licence (1AC).
Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
Valid First Aid Certificate.
Certificate II in Security Operations. Diversity Statement
