About you:
Due to an increased growth within the company, we are looking for a professional, hard-working, motivated Security Technician who takes pride in their work, to join our team.
Licenses/Qualifications:
- NSW Security Licence
- NSW Cabling Licence
- NSW Drivers Licence
- General Construction and Induction Card (white card)
- Australian Citizen/Australian Permanent Resident
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in the field
- Experience in installing electronic security systems – working with Gallagher/DSX/Genetec Mercury or similar competency (preferable)
- Installation and maintenance of IP CCTV systems
- Working knowledge of networking and IP cameras
- Experience with alarms both domestic and commercial
- High-level fault-finding skills, upgrading and commissioning
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Install CCTV and ALARM systems
- Diagnose and repair systems
- Run cables in conduits and cable tray
- Maintain CCTV and Alarm equipment to customer standards
- Sound knowledge of OH&S regulations
- Good problem solving skills, attention to detail
- Good communications and teamwork skills
- Occasional away or overnight work may be required – all accommodation, meals and travel allowances are paid by us
