 Machinery Operators for Seeding 2024

Western Victoria

Dates: March 2023 - June 2023

Position:
We are seeking experienced farm machinery operators for a large broadacre cropping & sheep farm in western Victoria.

The work will involve a mix of: 

• Operating various seeders, Case Steigers & John Deere tractors, windrowers, mower conditioners, rakes, big square balers, telehandlers etc.
• Fencing and general upkeep of infrastructure around the farm
• May include some occasional feeding of sheep & animal husbandry

These are casual positions with consistent work and long days.  

Requirements:

• General knowledge and practical application of farm machinery preventative maintenance and repairs
• Proven experience operating and maintaining modern high density machinery including tractors, seeder bars etc
• Ability to work within a large operation. 

Remuneration:
Competitive hourly rate of $30 - $33 p/h based on experience, with accommodation and meals included.
