In this role, you will be working closely with the sales team, responsible for providing strong financial support to commercial stakeholders by providing financial insights and decision support to maximise the profitability and sustainability of the business.
Role & Responsibility
Reporting to the FP&A Manager,your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and drive the monthly budgeting and forecasting for different departments
- Business partner with sales and operational departments to analyze and present business performance
- Modelling and analyzing drivers of department results and provide commentary on variances
- Building and maintaining dashboard reports using BI tools and excel models
- Proactively analyze and report actuals vs forecast sales and GP results to recognize potential risks and opportunities
- Develop and improve financial models to produce insightful analysis
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
Profile
To be successful in this role, the following experience is desirable:
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Retail/FMCG experience will be highly regarded but not essential
- knowledge and experience with an advanced ERP system
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to negotiate and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work constructively within a team
