With expansion to their business, there is an opportunity for a Sales Analyst to join the Sydney team.About the role:This role focuses on developing accurate sales forecasting models and providing strategic insights to guide Samsung's sales initiatives. By analysing retail trends and leveraging advanced modelling techniques, the Sales Analyst plays a critical role in informing sales strategies & planning, and driving operational excellence in a competitive market.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor store performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement in sales, inventory management, and customer satisfaction
- Recommend strategies for optimizing product assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising in retail stores
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support for special projects as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory
- Maintain and enhance existing sales forecasting financial model to support National Account Managers, and Product Managers with weekly sales planning
- Proven track record in data analysis, database management, and advanced financial modelling
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
