Due to our expansion at Design 10 Coffs Harbour, The Petries Group are looking for someone to join our team of Selection Consultants for our Kitchen and Bath showroom.

As a Design Centre Selection Consultant, you will take our customers on a journey through selection of colour and product to realise their dream home build or renovation. Accurately and efficiently follow through design, quotes and orders to ensure that dream is delivered, keeping the customers up to date throughout the process.
You will assist customers in selecting the perfect kitchen, bathroom and laundry fixtures that meet their design preferences, budget, and needs for residential and commercial spaces. Your goal is to create a positive shopping experience and ensure that customers find the ideal solutions for their projects. You’ll guide our retail customers through the excitement, twists, and turns of a renovation journey, helping them understand their options and our product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a professionally organised and efficient selection process for our customers.
- Document the selection accurately and develop into quotes and orders.
- Communicate effectively with our customers throughout the process.
- Educating and enlightening our customers on our products and services
- Maintain a fresh clean and well merchandised showroom.
- Ability to work Saturday mornings on a rotational roster.
To be successful in this role you will exemplify our CORE values and:
- Industry experience or qualifications in design/colour would be an advantage.
- Have a passion for building and renovating beautiful spaces.
- Able to understand customer needs and provide personalised solutions.
- Be proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and intermediate computer skills.
- Be professional and well presented.
- Positive, vibrant attitude to fit our team culture.
- Non-pushy, approachable sales method.
- Ability to develop strong customer relationships that lead to repeat business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Listen effectively and know what questions to ask and when.
