Form of workCalco Trusses and Timber is a family owned and operated prefab manufacturer based in South Geelong. We prefabricate wall frames, roof trusses, posi struts and cassette flooring ready to be delivered to site. Our prefabrication plant is one of the longest running in Victoria. Extensive knowledge and experience see Calco as a trusted name in the building industry. We manufacture Timber Frames and Trusses for the new build housing industry. The business has a long proud history with a strong view to the future and has grown substantially over the past few years to now have over 100 employees.
Due to continued strong growth, we are looking for a HC Truck Driver to join our Logistics Team.
We operate our own fleet of modern, well-maintained automatic Kenworth trucks which we maintain and service with our on-site Mechanical Workshop.
About the role
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a Truck Driver role that has variety and doesn’t require overnight stays.
Our drivers take products that have been pre-loaded and pre-slung to our customers sites in and around the Geelong and surrounding area. The key responsibilities involve:
- Adhering to our OHS rules and procedures at all times
- Hitching and unhitching trailers
- Delivering product to site in a safe and efficient manner
- Using a remote control mobile crane
Key Requirements
- Current HC truck licence (essential) and DG, CV licence
- Physically fit
