The Sangomar field which contains both oil and gas, is located 100 kilometres south of Dakar. Work on the Sangomar Field Development commenced in early 2020 and first oil production is targeted in 2024.
About the Role:
Woodside has engaged MODEC Senegal S.A.S.U to operate and maintain the FPSO “Leopold Sedar Senghor” for the Sangomar field. The FPSO will be permanently moored and will remain on station for the duration of the operations phase. The phase 1 development consists of 24 subsea Wells comprising 12 Oil Producers, 10 Water Injectors and 2 Gas Injection Wells tied back to the FPSO via a subsea network of flowlines and associated infrastructure.
Based in our Dakar office you will be a key member of the onshore Operations team supporting the Maintenance and Surveillance Superintendent to deliver optimum maintenance outcomes for the Asset.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for FPSO maintenance and the approved procedures within MODEC's Integrated Management System.
Provide assurance and governance of the FPSO Contractor’s Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), maintenance delivery program, fabric maintenance and equipment integrity for compliance and backlog management.
Ensure compliance with Class, Statutory, International and Local Regulatory requirements with regards to the maintenance and integrity of the safety, process, marine and structural systems of the FPSO.
Support identification, assessment and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities with oversight on equipment performance & maintenance strategies performed by the FPSO Contractor.
Support the Maintenance Superintendent to manage & maintain the maintenance and Integrity budget deliverables.
Skills & Experience:
Engineering or trade background in instrumentation / Electrical, Mechanical, Marine or related fields.
5+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
Good knowledge and understanding of the applicable local and international regulations and standards.
Knowledge and understanding of computerised maintenance management systems, preferably SAP.
Ability to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders with strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
