An independent public accounting firm in Hobart are looking for a Senior Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This role comes with a clear and expected pathway to partnership in the very near future with the expectation that the successful candidate will take a Partner role within 12-24 months of joining the firm. This is an exciting role that will service a broad range of clients.
Your new role
As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for a range of financial activities and will provide personal and tailored support to the firm's clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements, tax plans and tax returns.
Providing high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services to our clients.
Providing insights into business performance with the support of detailed financial analysis.
Mentoring and guidance of junior members of staff.
Manage client relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
Significant experience working in Australian public practice accounting firms.
CA or CPA qualified.
Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
Experience with managing/training junior staff
Previous experience using Excel or Pronto Application.
